Weston Farm is situated at the southern end of the Pentland Hills at 900 feet above sea level. The total area is 900 acres of which half is roughish grazing. The herd of approximately 100 breeding cows shares the grazing with 450 Lleyn ewes. All adult cows outwinter on a forage only diet. Most of the steers are finished on farm and marketed through Farmstock.

The farm is a grass farm and although some arable silage are grown, all cattle are expected to perform on minimal supplementation.

This has meant that often our cattle take a little longer to mature, but are expected to calf down consistently and without any trouble well into their teens.
