Our aim is for our cattle to produce the very finest quality beef that it is possible to produce. We are not trying to rear commodity beef but a unique product that reflects the environment in which it is reared. We are not encouraging the cattle to mature quickly but expect them to grow and finish at their own pace. The swards and herbage on which they graze are very mixed and this will be reflected in the flavour of the meat. The beef can be purchased from the farm shop at Whitmuir, Lamancha, near Penicuik.
